Oldfield Law Tennessee, PLLC (“Oldfield Law Tennessee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.oldfieldlaw.net (the “Site”) and our related phone and text messaging communications, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Site or communicating with us by phone, form, or text message, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Contact and Intake Forms. When you submit a form on the Site to request a consultation or more information, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and details about your legal matter.
  • Phone Calls. We use call tracking technology (such as CallRail) on numbers listed on the Site. Calls placed to those numbers may be recorded and tracked, including the caller’s phone number and the content of the call, for quality assurance and to measure which marketing sources generate calls to our office.
  • Text Messages (SMS). If you text us or opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and the content of the messages exchanged. See Section 3 below for details specific to our text messaging program.
2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule or provide legal services;
  • Communicate with you about your matter, including by phone, email, or text message;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our intake process;
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising; and
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

Oldfield Law Tennessee, PLLC sends text message updates and responses to legal customers about the legal services offered at www.oldfieldlaw.net.

  • We only send text messages to numbers that have opted in to receive them. You may opt in by submitting your number through the Site, providing it during a call, or texting us directly.
  • Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our office.
  • Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt-Out. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. You may reply “HELP” for assistance.

No Sharing for Marketing Purposes. Mobile information, including your phone number and opt-in status, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except as described in Section 4 below.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your information, and we do not share the information described in this Policy with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers. Vendors who help us operate the Site, our phone systems, and our text messaging program (for example, our website host, call tracking provider, and text messaging platform), solely so they can provide those services to us.
  • Legal and Safety Reasons. When required to satisfy a legal, regulatory, or governmental request, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Oldfield Law Tennessee, our clients, or others.
  • With Your Direction. If you ask us to share information on your behalf (for example, with opposing counsel or a court).

Nothing in this Policy limits the confidentiality protections that apply to the attorney-client relationship for individuals who become clients of the firm.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain the information described in this Policy for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and comply with our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.

7. Your Choices
  • Text Messages. Reply “STOP” to opt out at any time, or “HELP” for assistance.
  • Phone Calls. You may decline to have a call recorded by informing our staff at the start of the call.
  • General Inquiries. You may contact us using the information in Section 10 to ask what information we hold about you or to request that it be deleted, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
8. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our text messaging program are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above reflects when this Policy was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
