Rochelle A. Oldfield
CEO/Managing Partner
Rochelle A. Oldfield is the founder and guiding force behind Oldfield Law Tennessee, a firm recognized across East Tennessee for its integrity, compassion, and unwavering advocacy in family law.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Rochelle graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Denver before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She began her career as an Assistant Solicitor in South Carolina, specializing in cases of child abuse and domestic violence, later passing the Washington State Bar and continuing her work as a prosecuting attorney.
After making Knoxville her permanent home in 2011, Rochelle served five years with the Department of Children’s Services, where she became and remains a Certified Child Welfare Specialist. Her firsthand understanding of DCS operations, combined with her prosecutorial background, gives her a rare depth of insight that strengthens her advocacy for families navigating custody disputes, divorce, adoption, and dependency and neglect matters.
In 2019, Rochelle founded Oldfield Law Tennessee with a clear mission: to provide families with the caliber of representation they deserve during life’s most challenging moments. Beyond the courtroom, she has competed as a triathlete, fitness competitor, and powerlifter, and is the proud mother of two sons active in youth hockey. Rochelle is an active member of the Knoxville community, which she proudly calls home.
Jason Beddingfield
Senior Attorney
Jason Beddingfield brings more than twenty years of legal experience to Oldfield Law Tennessee, serving the greater East Tennessee region with a practice grounded in integrity, compassion, and precise legal judgment. A former Magistrate Judge for the Blount County Juvenile Court, he presided over dependency and neglect matters, child support, and other juvenile issues, experience that deepened his understanding of the legal system and refined his litigation, communication, and case‑management skills. Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and in the Federal Court for the Sixth Circuit. Whether guiding families through complex disputes or advising individuals and businesses on critical legal matters, he is known for delivering clear, confident, and highly personalized representation.
Megan Hutchens
Associate Attorney
Megan Hutchens earned her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Tennessee, bringing a thoughtful blend of legal training and psychological insight to her work at Oldfield Law Tennessee. Driven by a deep interest in human behavior, she approaches each case with empathy, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to precise, client‑centered advocacy. Outside the office, Megan enjoys collecting antiques, spending meaningful time with loved ones, and relaxing with her cat—interests that reflect her well‑rounded character and genuine enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
Michael Rushing
Senior Paralegal
Michael Rushing is an accomplished paralegal professional whose career spans more than a decade of progressively senior roles within the United States Army and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, where he has supervised, trained, and mentored paralegals across multiple installations while supporting attorneys in complex administrative, criminal, and military justice matters. His experience includes leading teams of up to thirty paralegals, conducting extensive legal and factual research, drafting and reviewing hundreds of legal actions, managing courts‑martial and administrative separations, and delivering more than seventy Investigation Officer law briefs, work that reflects both technical mastery and disciplined leadership. Michael has served in key positions such as Senior Paralegal Supervisor, Criminal Law Paralegal Supervisor, Brigade Paralegal, and Trial Defense Paralegal, consistently demonstrating precision, sound judgment, and an ability to improve operations through updated procedures and best practices. He has completed advanced training through The Judge Advocate General’s School, including the Advanced Law for Paralegal Course and Senior Leader Course, and is proficient in legal research, case analysis, and the full spectrum of administrative and military justice processes. Michael brings a rare combination of operational expertise, legal acumen, and unwavering professionalism to every environment he serves.
Elaine Walker

Elaine M. Walker, MBA, is a diversely skilled and success‑driven Director whose career spans leadership roles across legal administration, business operations, and organizational management, bringing a rare blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and people‑centered leadership to Oldfield Law Tennessee. With an MBA from Capella University and advanced certifications in legal management, ethics, communication, and financial administration, she is recognized as an Honored Listee of Marquis Who’s Who for her professional achievement and impact. Elaine’s expertise includes developing high‑performing administrative systems, elevating business processes, and strengthening firm‑wide operations through disciplined structure and forward‑thinking strategy.
